Travelogue of George and Valerie's fascinating tour
| Immediately after retiring we rented out our house in England, flew to the USA and purchased a 37-foot recreational vehicle (RV) and tow car, so providing us with the means to explore a whole new world. The result was a fascinating tour that lasted nearly three years. |

We toured 43 of the lower 48 states as well as spent two months in Mexico, then during 1998, we made a truly memorable four-month visit to Canada and Alaska. This travelogue also includes an interesting account of a mid-tour visit to South Africa as well as other special events. Our tour which ended in November 1998, is chronicled within these pages with extracts from our diary and photo albums. |
